Two-Phase Procedure for Children
Phase 1 features orthopedic bone growth treatment. Depending on the results, Phase 2 may be bypassed altogether.
When Phase 2 is called for, it begins after the child's permanent teeth have emerged. Phase 2 straightens teeth and corrects any overbites or underbites.
Treatment for Adults
Adults also undergo a form of bone growth treatment to address skeletal growth deformities of the face or jaw, followed by the application of braces.
